About the course

Practical half-day workshop where every attendee writes, and gets feedback on, a working notice under FIDIC, NEC, or both. The most common reason contractors lose entitlement is poorly drafted notices. This workshop fixes that in one session.

Who it’s for

  • Junior to mid-level QS cohorts
  • New commercial joiners during onboarding
  • Project managers and engineers who issue notices but rarely draft them properly
  • Whole commercial teams as a refresher before a complex tender or project mobilisation

What attendees can do afterwards

Outcomes.

  • 01 Draft a notice that actually meets the contractual requirements
  • 02 Spot the time-bar moment and react before the clock runs out
  • 03 Know the difference between a Notice, a Reservation, and a Fully Detailed Claim
  • 04 Build a personal checklist for notice administration on live projects
